There's only one thing better than your wedding day - Having TWO wedding days!
Marry Now, Party Later
With over 75% of couples choosing to postpone their wedding receptions due to the pandemic, we are seeing a new trend known as "A Sequel Wedding."
This is the perfect option for couples who are conscious of keeping their wedding guest circle small. This may apply if your wedding venue is in the South of Ireland where heavier restrictions are still currently in place and the number of guests are limited. Couples may choose to have a small ceremony with close relatives and friends present before a bigger wedding elsewhere at a later date with extended family and friends.
What's not to love about drawing out the celebrations for longer than one day?
We love the creativity of our real bride Bennie's back garden hen do. Perfect for a few of your nearest and dearest, our beautiful bride made the most of the sunshine and had the most stunning bridal shower before the big day!
Do I Re-Wear My Wedding Dress?
It all depends on what you want! When having a two part wedding, we have seen a lot of brides wear the same dress for both days but wear them totally differently! For example, on your actual wedding day you could go more formal with pinned up hair, veil and a nice bouquet. For the second part wedding party, you could let your hair down (literally speaking) and pair your dress with a fun denim jacket like our newlywed Laura who looked stunning in her wedding dress and blush jacket.
